Before your first session

Read the complete instructions and electrode placement guide. Consult your physician before use. Apply pads only to healthy, intact, clean and dry skin, and follow the illustrated placement instructions. Turn the unit off before placing, moving or removing pads. Store reusable pads on their protective film between sessions; replace worn pads as directed. Pads are not rechargeable.

Important safety information

• Do not use during pregnancy or on children or infants.
• Do not use with a pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, other implanted metal or electronic device, life-support equipment or attached electronic monitoring equipment.
• Do not use while sleeping, bathing, driving or operating machinery.
• Do not place pads on the head, face, throat, across the chest, directly on the spine, or on injured, irritated, infected or numb skin or near cancerous lesions.
• Keep pads at least two inches apart. Do not let them touch. Do not share pads.
• Stop if discomfort or irritation occurs. Seek medical advice if pain worsens, becomes severe or persists beyond five days.
