Do not use PEX for the tub-outlet connection to the tub spout; the manufacturer warns this can cause shower rise or related issues. Remove the service stops and flush plug before soldering. Inspect the valve body for debris after installation, since debris can damage the pressure-balance cartridge. Follow the manufacturer's rough-in instructions and local codes. Adjust the integrated stops to verify water control during trim installation.

Storage

Store in a cool, dry area within the original box to prevent particulate accumulation in the valve seat or corrosion of the brass threads.
