How to Use

Turn off the hot and cold water supplies before starting. To ensure a watertight fit, apply plumber's thread-seal tape to the 1/2" NPT connection prior to installation. Fit the rear rubber seal and thread the elbow onto the wall supply nipple so the seal sits firmly against the finished wall and the outlet faces downward. Use the correct sealing washer inside the compatible hose coupling. Restore the water supply and check the connections for leaks before use.

Finish Care

Clean with clear water and dry with a soft cotton flannel cloth. Avoid soap, acids, polish, abrasive products, harsh cleaners and coarse cloths, following American Standard’s finish-care instructions.

Storage

Keep the unit inside its original packaging in a moisture-free area until ready for installation to protect the oil-rubbed bronze finish from scratches or particulate buildup.
