Choosing and using this heater

The package states that heating raises water temperature by approximately 5–14°F (3–7°C), depending on aquarium size and room temperature. No manual temperature setting is required. Check the aquarium temperature regularly with a reliable aquarium thermometer; heating results vary with the tank and its surroundings.
