The single colors give you one shade to wear or blend with your other makeup favorites. Backstage Blue and Boss Moss each combine a light and dark color in one pan, making it easy to pair a base shade with a deeper contour.

Match the refill tray to your compact
This assortment includes two different vintage formats. They are not interchangeable simply because the shade names match.
- Square-base refills: A rounded-rectangular powder pan in a pink rectangular carrier, used with the matching vintage Mary Kay Glamour Compact.
- Round-ended refills: One straight end and one curved end. The vintage pink Color Compact 5455 holds two of these eye-color refills in its oval recess. Remove the clear slide-off covers before seating the refill trays.
Leaf, Vibrant Violet, Marmalade and Cranberry Ice are pictured with both tray styles. If you need one of those shades for a fitted compact, ask me to confirm the available tray shape before ordering. These older snap-in formats are not a promised fit for current magnetic Mary Kay compacts or Chromafusion palettes.

Using and caring for the refill
Use a clean eye-shadow brush or applicator and build color a little at a time. For a Second Look duo, apply the lighter color as a base and blend the darker color where you want definition. Keep the protective cover on between uses, handle the plastic carrier by its edges and wipe only the outside of the holder with a dry soft cloth.
Follow the application directions on the exact carton, including whether that version allows wet or dry use. Do not share eye makeup, and do not use it on irritated or broken skin near the eyes.
