Product details

Full product description

Oatey Sure-Vent 39016 air admittance valve for 1-1/2 in. to 2 in. PVC plumbing applications. This boxed unit is labeled 20 DFU and is intended for secondary venting where permitted by local plumbing codes.

  • Brand / model: Oatey Sure-Vent 39016
  • Size: 1-1/2 in. to 2 in.
  • Adapter: Schedule 40 PVC
  • Capacity: 20 DFU, as printed on this unit’s packaging
  • UPC: 038753390161

The one-way valve admits air as fixtures drain and closes afterward to help keep sewer gases contained. Suggested applications on the packaging include island sinks, bathroom additions and wet bars.

Condition: New in the original box. The retail carton has visible shelf wear, creasing and scuffs. Please review the photos of the actual packaging.

Installation: Check local plumbing codes and follow Oatey installation instructions. An air admittance valve is not a replacement for every required vent; the packaging calls for at least one primary vent to outdoor air.
