Penn-Plax Rite-Bite 1.13-Gallon Aquarium Kit with LED Light

Keep feeding portions organized through the week

The Penn-Plax Rite-Bite BBT8 combines a compact clear tank with a weekly food-portion lid, a two-color LED and a bottom drain. The 1.13-gallon / 4.3-liter tank has a manual seven-day feeding organizer to help keep portions on track and a drain for partial water changes.

Before You Add Fish

This small kit should not be treated as a complete permanent betta habitat. University of Illinois veterinary guidance recommends a betta aquarium ideally 5 gallons or larger, with low-flow filtration and a stable tropical water temperature. Plan an appropriately sized, cycled, heated and filtered habitat before bringing home a betta. The included light and gravel do not replace those requirements. See the University of Illinois veterinary guidance on betta housing and consult an aquatic veterinarian or experienced aquatic specialist.

• PRO-V Crystal Gravel and a color-in background

How the Feeding Lid Works

An adult measures suitable food portions into the compartments, closes them and lifts the appropriate compartment at feeding time. It is a manual organizer, not an automatic feeder. Choose portions for the fish and food being used; the spoon is not a universal feeding dose.
