Directions
Shake well before use. Measure with the supplied dosing cup. Drink a full 8 fl oz glass of liquid with each dose. The daily amount may be taken once, preferably at bedtime, divided into smaller doses, or as directed by a doctor. Do not exceed the maximum daily amount in any 24-hour period.
- Adults and children 12 years and older: 30–60 mL daily; maximum 60 mL in 24 hours.
- Children 6–11 years: 15–30 mL daily; maximum 30 mL in 24 hours.
- Children under 6 years: ask a doctor.
Warnings
Do not use if you have had an allergic reaction to this product or its ingredients. Ask a doctor before use if you have kidney disease, a magnesium-restricted diet, stomach pain, nausea or vomiting, or a sudden change in bowel habits lasting more than 14 days. Ask a doctor or pharmacist before use if you take prescription medication because interactions can occur.
Stop use and ask a doctor if rectal bleeding occurs or no bowel movement occurs after use. These could be signs of a serious condition. Also stop use and ask a doctor if you need a laxative for more than one week. If pregnant or breastfeeding, ask a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of reach of children. In case of overdose, seek medical help or contact Poison Control immediately.
Storage and Other Information
Each 15 mL contains 500 mg magnesium. Store at room temperature, avoid freezing and heat above 40°C / 104°F, and close the cap tightly after use. Do not use if the tamper-evident neckband is broken or missing.
