Check two indoor doors, windows or cabinets with the Quirky + GE Tripper two-pack. Each white sensor uses a magnet to detect when an opening changes state. With a supported Wink hub, app and subscription, you can receive notifications or use those changes to trigger connected-light routines.

Important limitation: Tripper is for checking open/closed status, not home security. The manufacturer says not to use it as a home-security device; it does not replace a properly installed and maintained alarm system.

What you receive

One white two-sensor retail pack. Includes two sensor-and-magnet pairs with adhesive, one preinstalled CR2032 battery per sensor and a user guide. The hub, phone, and other room accessories are not included.

Power and Setup

Each sensor uses one replaceable CR2032 lithium coin battery. Remove the battery's plastic pull tab to activate pairing, then add the sensor in the Wink app. Wink recommends replacing the battery annually; replace sooner if depleted. The sensor opens at the side indent for battery access.

Indoor use only. Mount the sensor and magnet on the fixed and moving parts of a closed door or window, on clean surfaces, with no more than a 1/8-inch gap when closed. Keep batteries and sensors away from children. A Wink-compatible hub, Wi-Fi network, and iOS or Android phone with the Wink app are required. Wink cloud control and automations require a paid Wink subscription. The GE Link Hub is not supported. Verify your hub, phone, app, and paid service compatibility before purchase; these are legacy devices. The guide excludes tablets and desktop computers.
