Which product is this?

UNSS030 is the facial sunscreen gel in the UNBLEMISH range, rather than its acne-wash or benzoyl-peroxide treatment steps. Its four active filters are avobenzone, homosalate, octisalate and octocrylene; it is not a zinc-oxide or titanium-dioxide mineral sunscreen.

For swimming or sweating, the label directs you to choose a water-resistant sunscreen.

Active ingredients: Avobenzone 3%, Homosalate 10%, Octisalate 5%, Octocrylene 10%. Purpose: Sunscreen. NDC: 14222-2131.

Labeled uses

Helps prevent sunburn. Used as directed with other sun-protection measures, it decreases the risk of skin cancer and early skin aging caused by the sun.

Label directions

• Apply generously over the entire face at least 15 minutes before sun exposure.
• Reapply at least every 2 hours.
• Choose a water-resistant sunscreen for swimming or sweating.
• Limit sun exposure, especially between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.; wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses.
• Ask a doctor before use on children younger than 6 months.

Warnings and storage

For external use only. Do not apply to damaged or broken skin. Avoid the eyes; rinse with water if contact occurs. Stop using and ask a doctor if a rash develops. Keep away from children. Get medical help immediately if swallowed. Protect the product from excessive heat and direct sunlight.
