Setup & Safe Handling

Secure the heater with its suction cup mounts. When upright, keep the water above its marked minimum level; when horizontal, keep it fully submerged. Leave it underwater for at least 30 minutes before connecting power. Check the water with a separate reliable thermometer and allow 24 hours between temperature adjustments. Maintain a drip loop, disconnect immersed electrical equipment before putting your hands in water, and unplug the heater before removal or cleaning. Do not power it outside water. Follow Aqueon’s Pro Heater instructions for setup, safety and manufacturer warranty terms.
