• Audible & Tactile Click Confirmation — You'll know your firearm is fully seated and secured every single time.
• Speed-Cut Design — Optimized muzzle geometry aids rapid presentation and smooth re-holstering under pressure.
• Passive Retention Detent Screw — Fine-tune the draw tension to match your preference using the adjustment screw.
• Paddle Platform — Attaches and detaches quickly from your belt without removing it; no belt loops required.

2. Holster your firearm — press down firmly until you hear and feel the audible click confirming full retention engagement.
3. To draw — place your index finger alongside the frame (not on the trigger), press the SERPA release button naturally as your hand wraps the grip, and draw in one fluid motion.
4. Adjust retention tension using the passive detent screw if you prefer a lighter or firmer draw resistance.
5. Practice your draw with an unloaded firearm before carrying to build muscle memory with the SERPA release.

Who This Is For

• Right-hand carriers using a S&W M&P 9mm, M&P .40, or Sigma series pistol

Who Should Look Elsewhere

• Left-hand dominant shooters (this is a right-hand-only model)

Safety & Caution

Always treat every firearm as if it is loaded. Practice the SERPA draw stroke with an unloaded firearm before live use. Keep your trigger finger straight and off the trigger during the draw until your sights are on target. This holster is designed for right-hand use only — do not attempt to modify for left-hand carry. No firearm is included with this product.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Is this a universal-fit holster?
A: No. The package identifies S&W M&P 9/40 and Sigma, right-hand hip carry. C.O.R.E. models are excluded. Confirm your exact firearm configuration against Blackhawk’s model-specific fit guidance before use; the M&P Shield requires a different model.

Q: Does the paddle fit standard belt widths?
A: Yes. The paddle platform is designed to fit standard duty and casual belts. For best retention, use a firm gun belt rather than a soft fashion belt.

Q: Can I adjust the draw tension?
A: Yes. The passive retention detent adjustment screw lets you fine-tune draw resistance to your preference without replacing any parts.

Q: Is this new or refurbished?
A: This is new in the original retail box shown in the actual product photo. The box has visible corner and edge wear; the clear window and existing retail price sticker are shown in the photo.

Q: How fast does it ship?
A: Orders ship quickly and securely from our Burlington, KY facility. Every item is inspected before it leaves our hands.
