The Mary Kay Mineral Foundation Brush uses a short, dense, flat-topped head of natural-hair bristles to pick up mineral powder and distribute it as you sweep and swirl. Its short handle fits comfortably in your hand, helping you build coverage in light layers.

Condition and finish variation

Most brushes retain their original clear pouch. Every brush will be sent sealed and protected for shipment. The collar may be black or chrome, depending on remaining inventory; both versions serve the same mineral-foundation function. The actual-item photo and use examples show the black-collar version.

How to use

1. Dispense a little loose powder into its sifter, lightly dip the brush and tap off excess on the jar rim. Swirl the brush in the lid to work powder through the bristles.
2. Apply a thin layer from the center of the face outward toward the hairline and jawline, blending well.
3. Repeat with thin layers until you reach the coverage you want.

How to clean

Clean the brush every 7-10 days using lukewarm water and a gentle shampoo. Wash and rinse the bristle tips, keeping water away from the collar and handle; do not soak the brush. Gently squeeze out excess water, reshape the bristles and lay the brush flat with the tips extending over the edge of a counter to dry.
