Pressure-balanced water control for a Moen Posi-Temp shower
The Moen 2510 helps maintain your selected shower temperature, and its M-PACT design lets you update compatible trim styles later without replacing the valve. This listing is for one new Moen 2510 Posi-Temp rough-in valve in its original box. It is the valve body for a one-handle tub/shower installation; trim is not included. The actual valve, original box, and printed installation guide appear in the final gallery photo.

Before ordering
This is a rough-in valve only, intended for a compatible Moen Posi-Temp one-handle tub/shower trim installation. Confirm your required connection type, valve configuration, and trim compatibility before ordering. Installation instructions are included; professional installation is recommended where required by local code.
Installation Dimensions and Fit
Moen’s rough-in drawing specifies a 4½-inch plaster ground, a maximum wall thickness of 1⅞ inches for the IPS model, and a 2¼–3½-inch opening for thin-wall surrounds. These are installation dimensions, not overall valve-body measurements. Use the included guide to position the valve relative to the finished wall.
The tub-spout drop and outlet must use ½-inch copper or IPS pipe without restrictive fittings, with the spout 6–11 inches below the valve. Moen’s installation instructions specify a showerhead rated at least 1.5 gallons per minute. Shut off the water supply before servicing, and have the installer set the temperature limit stop according to the instructions.
